BASICS

Basic physical conditions required to compact soil.

VIBROCOMPACTION METHOD

Method in which the vibroflot penetrates the soil with the addition of a water-air mixture. In this method, the local material is densified in the lower area of the vibroflot. As materal is consumed a crater is formed at the surface that is either backfilled or leveled.

THE DRY BOTTOM FEED SYSTEM

Process in which dry gravel is added via a silo tube and material tube to the bottom of the vibroflot. The gravel is compacted in steps from the bottom upwards to the desired level.
