Australien 2014 – Onslow
Wellenbrecher und Materialauslagerungsanlage
Location – Westaustralien – westlich von Onslow (12km) am Indischen Ozean
Projektbeschreibung
Bau einer 980 m langen Wellenbrecher- und Materialauslagerungsanlage (MOF – Material Offload Facility), die von Chevron entwickelt wurde. 1.981 Schottersäulen mit mit einem Durchmesser von 1,0m wurden für die Umsetzung des Projekt hergestellt. Die Wassertiefe lag zwischen vier uns sechseinhalb Meter, die entstandenen Säulen variierten zwischen drei und sechs Meter. Zur Realisierung wurden 120 Tage, im zweischichtbetrieb benötigt um insgesamt 9100 Meter Schottersäule zu generieren.

Herstellung von 630 Schottersäulen mit einem Durchmesser von 0,8 Meter mittels einer V-Rex Einheit. Nach der Überarbeitung des neuen Wassermanagementsystem, welches Regenwasser erhält, musste das alte Wassersystem weichen, um Platz für eine Wohnsiedlung zu schaffen.
Die Wassertiefe lag zwischen 1 und 2,2 Metern, die entstandenen Schottersäulen variierten in der Tiefe zwischen 4,5 und 7,5 m. Die Arbeitszeit auf dieser Baustelle betrug 1 Monat
Die Durchführung wurde mithilfe einer rollierenden Plattform realisiert. Die V-Rex-Einheit, welche sich am Kran befindet erstellt die Schottersäulen in Reihen vor dem Kran bis die maximale Reichweite erreicht ist. Anschließend fährt der Kran von der Plattform und es wird eine Kiesmischung als Füllung aufgetragen. Durch Walzen der Aufgetragenen Schicht erweitert sich die Plattform und der Kran ist in der Lage die nächsten Reihen Schottersäulen zu erstellen.
